SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS [back to top] Perfect Service requires an IBM PC or 100% compatible computer, with a Pentium III 800 MHz proccesser or better, with at least 512 megabytes of RAM. You must have DirectX 8 or higher installed. It also requires one of the following operating systems: Windows Vista, XP, ME, or 2000. (If you are using Windows Vista, please ensure that User Account Control (UAC) is activated. You must be logged in as an administrator to install this game.) Controls: a 100% Microsoft compatible mouse is required. Sound: you must have a DirectX certified sound card installed. Video: you must have your desktop set to 16-bit or 32-bit color mode. DirectX Perfect Service requires you to have DirectX 8 drivers or later installed. These are sound and video drivers from Microsoft often used in games. To find out which version you have, click "run" (or "search" or "find" in Vista) from the start menu and type "dxdiag". A menu should appear with the information. Microsoft's DirectX is available here: Screen Resolution and Color Depth Perfect Service should work with all resolutions, but for best performance in 'full screen' mode, a monitor that supports 800 x 600 resolution is ideal, (the game will automatically detect if your monitor supports this and it will switch it when playing in 'full screen' mode for you.) It also requires either a 16-bit or 32-bit color depth. It should ask you to change this if you have it set to something else. To change either resolution or color depth manually in windows, right click your desktop and select "properties" from the menu, and then click the "settings" tab. In addition, the game may run slowly in windowed mode in 32-bit color. If this occurs, switch to full-screen mode, or change your color depth to 16-bits.
